Project Overview: Garden Design West Torrington
For this project, we were asked to transform a bland and uninspired garden into a stunning courtyard oasis that is now perfect for entertaining.
This garden design project began in June 2024, led by our experienced operations manager Ricky and exceptionally talented designer David.
Initial Consultation
Following a thorough survey of the site, David took to the drawing board to come up with a new plan for the outdoor space. It was very important for us to ensure that the new garden complemented the age and traditional style of the property, while also meeting our client’s desires.
Once the design was approved by our clients, we began the work to bring the garden to life.
The Transformation Begins
This garden design focused on a main centrepiece, made of two turf circles at split levels. This created a dynamic and visually appealing landscape that has a unique centre to bring out the charm of the property.
Along with this centrepiece, we also extensively used natural stone paving, in stunning Forest Glenn which perfectly complemented the new turf. With an Autumn Gold edging and curb, the newly paved courtyard offsets the elegant design of the garden as a whole.
All paving used in this garden design West Torrington project was supplied by Brett, as we a Premier Brett Installer.
While this is a fairly simple garden design, the inclusion of decorative details and unique shades of natural stone paving made for a truly breathtaking result.
Distinctive Features: Hot Tub Oak Building
To add more style and functionality to the garden, our team crafted a bespoke oak building for our client’s hot tub. This not only offers them privacy and shade when using their hot tub, but the traditional oak design seamlessly blends with the barn conversion property that surrounds it.
This is yet another example of how even the simplest of designs can make such a difference to your property, especially when handled by experts of our calibre.
The Final Result
The entire transformation of this garden design in West Torrington took place in under three weeks. A lot of work went into transforming this garden, which had gone from a dark courtyard in Plum slate to a stunning exterior complete with bespoke features, new additions and beautiful natural stone paving.
Due to the work of our team, this garden is now a warm and inviting environment that is perfect for spending time outdoors with friends and family. It’s a retreat, right at home.
