This project was initially brought to our team in the spring of 2022, by a client who was dissatisfied with the basic design of their existing garden.

Project Overview
Our client was looking to renovate their garden with more exciting and innovative ideas – which is something the team at ALS Landscaping thrive on!
They had struggled to renovate their garden in the past, due to access issues which also posed an issue for our team.
However, despite the challenges this project posed we were able to take on this client and develop a 3D garden design visual for their new garden design which they loved.
The Challenges
As we have mentioned, this client had struggled to realise their vision for their outdoor space in the past because of the access issues their landscape posed. This was the main challenge for our team during this project, but something we persevered with.
However, no vehicles larger than a standard van could be used to access the property which meant this project was very labour-intensive for our team. This, combined with the fact this project took place during the hottest spell on record with temperatures regularly reaching 38 degrees Celcius, were big challenges for our team.
Nonetheless, we are professionals and will work in all conditions to ensure our clients are happy with the results we provide.
Constructing The Raised Terrace
The main feature of this project was the raised terrace, complete with beautiful glass balustrades.
Constructing this elevated space was a meticulous portion of the project, as it required a lot of retaining and building work to get right. During this construction, we also needed a detailed report from a structural engineer to prove that our work was secure enough to hold the raised terrace.
Following all of this hard work, we successfully created a remarkable centrepiece for our client’s garden that adds charm and beauty to a previously standard family landscape.
Beyond the Build: Planting and Turf
In addition to these construction and engineering feats, ALS Landscaping developed an accompanying planting design for our clients and helped to cultivate a beautiful design that would complement the newly raised terrace and property as a whole.
Working hand in hand with the client, our landscapers perform planting and turf installation to the highest standards. We worked to ensure that these natural elements fit in with our client’s personal style as well as the new raised seating area project.
Final Notes
Despite the logistical challenges and hard weather conditions, our team at ALS Landscaping remained dedicated to this project. We did not complete our work until the client was completely satisfied, and the end result is a testament to the tireless work and expertise of our team.
