Hi there. My name is Addam Smith and I’m from ALS Landscaping in Lincoln. Today I’m going to talk to you about a design video that we’ve put together for a project that we completed this summer.
So this video is essentially just to show you and run the design video that the client saw as part of the design package that we put together for our 3D design package.
It’s less than two minutes long and it’s part of a bigger design setup for this particular project.
3D Garden Design Video
The following video that I’m going to do for you will run through the full process of what we do for our designs, how we put them together, how we communicate that with our clients, and then how we execute the designs and the builds, manage and then create these gardens that we put together.
Compact Garden Design
So this was a relatively compact garden that we’ve come across. It had some issues in it, it had a bad install the previous year.
The clients actually had an installer in that didn’t do a fantastic job of it at all. The client actually ended up asking this particular contractor to leave.
So we came along, we put the design together, as you can see, and we completely changed the garden. When you see the finished product, you’ll see essentially what you’re looking at now, if not better.
Porcelain Paving and Cedar Screening
So it consisted of the pergola, we went for an oak pergola, cedar screening, porcelain patio.
It was a toss up between artificial grass and real grass, but they actually went for artificial grass because they’ve got dogs.
Lighting and Planting
We have some lighting and then the planting plan as well. So we did a full planting plan for this particular client and installed all the plants.
As you can see there, that’s the evening aspect with all the lighting involved as well.
So start to finish it’s a short video, but you can see what can be achieved in a garden of that size with the correct design.
