What was the brief?
The original garden, in the central area of Lincoln, had concrete paths with a lawn which had been destroyed by pets. It was a nightmare for the client, particularly in the winter months.
This project was a full rip out and reinstall. We installed brand new fencing all around the borders, with new style pressure treated continental Sussex wave panels.
The client had a few requests:
- A low maintenance garden
- Dog friendly
- Something tidy (and easy to keep that way!) that didn’t lose any design interest
Addam, founder and director of ALS Landscaping, worked closely with the client to ensure the design met their exacting standards.
What was the result?
This is Brett Aura Block Paving in Bronze Fleck with Porcelain Elegant Timber in Vintage Oak.
We also installed quality 40mm magnum artificial grass. There’s a new soakaway and Aco channels to help with the drainage.
We added a feature wall around the brick garage, and made a feature timber screen with trimmed down oak sleepers into a planter. To continue the use of wood, we also incorporated an oak step over split levels.
We’re a registered Brett Premier Approved Installer, so all our driveways are covered by a five year installation guarantee and 10 year product guarantee. Once the project is complete, we register it on the Brett website. The homeowner then receives a copy of the information.
Every driveway and patio we install is completed to the correct British Standards.
